The Penn State Alumni Association

What’s been happening:

After graduation I began my career with Chesterfield County, VA as a Development Planner and was employed there for ten (10) years during a high growth period. I am currently the Zoning Administrator with Prince George County, VA and I have been there for the past seven (7) years also in a high growth county. The US Defense Department's BRAC expansion of Fort Lee and the construction of a Rolls-Royce aero-engine and powerplant facility within our 1200 acre industrial park at I-295 and US 460 keeps me busy. I am married to Christine, who attended Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) and is a Paralegal, and where we had met while at VCU pursuing my Masters Degree in Public Administration and Urban Planning in 2002. We enjoy the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts in Richmond, day and weekend trips to Charlottesville, Williamsburg, and the other cultural and scenic areas of beautiful Virginia, as our home state and where our families all reside within a day's drive or less for us. We still attend Penn State football games and arts festivals at University Park and stay in Altoona near the Penn State - Altoona Ivyside Campus where I got my start at Penn State in 1986. My brother Byron Miles, is a PSU Alumnus 1986 BS Business, and he owns his own finance and mortgage company here in Chesterfield County, VA.
